Location of the Hotel Ritz
The Hotel Ritz is ideally located along the
banks of the River Arno in one of the most exclusive areas
of Florence. The beautiful Church of S. Croce, the Bargello
Museum, the Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio are all just a short
walking distance from the hotel.

- From Santa Maria Novella Station
From the train station you can get a taxi
(the taxi rank is just outside the Station) which will take
about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. It usually costs between
8 - 10 Euros.
- From the Airport
From the airport the Hotel Ritz suggests that you take a
taxi. It normally takes between 15-20 minutes to get to the
hotel, depending on traffic conditions. The taxi usually costs
about 20 Euros.
- Garage with valet service
The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby
garage that can pick up and drop off your car from and to
the door of the hotel. 24 Hours of parking costs 25 Euro per
car and 35 Euro for minivans and deluxe / larger cars. A valet
service is included for arrival and departure. Guests should
pay the garage with cash when receiving the car on checking
out of the hotel. The garage is open from 7.00am in the morning
until midnight.
- Steet Parking
There is street parking outside the hotel
- you are allowed to park cars in the areas marked by a red
circle. Please remember to pay at the parking meter. Parking
is in force between 8:00am and 20:00pm. Parking typically
costs 1 Euro per hour (car parking rates however can change
anytime).
- From North, from the A1 Exit Firenze Nord
Follow the directions toward "centro".
You will reach the boulevard ring. Follow the boulevard in
the following direction: Viale Fratelli Rosselli, Viale Filippo
Strozzi near the Fortress, then Viale Spartaco Lavagnini.
Travel straight ahead towards Piazza Beccaria. After the square
hold to your right. When you reach the river turn right along
Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia. After 200 meters you will find
the Hotel Ritz.
- From South, from the A1 Exit Firenze Sud
Travel straight ahead on the 7km long connection
that will bring you to the other side of the river. Do not
exit that street until the vey end, where you will see a red
light. At this light turn left along the river then head straight
ahead for about 1km. At the second bridge turn right onto
Viale Amendola. Turn on the first left in Viale Duca degli
Abruzzi and then left again on Viale Giovine Italia. Turn
right along the river. The Hotel Ritz Florence is 200 meters
further on.
- Driving from Highway Fi-Pi-Li
Reach and cross Ponte alla Vittoria, follow
straight ahead in Viale Fratelli Rosselli, Viale Filippo Strozzi
near the Fortress, then follow Viale Spartaco Lavagnini. Travel
straight ahead toward Piazza Beccaria. After the square hold
to your right. When you reach the river turn right along Lungarno
della Zecca Vecchia. After 200 meters you will find the Hotel
Ritz.
- From Siena or from A1 Highway Certosa Exit
Follow straight ahead on the localstret
toward Firenze. After 5km follow Viale Galileo Galilei. Reach
Piazzale Michelangelo then follow the boulevard straight down
along Viale Michelangelo. Cross Ponte S. Niccolo' then follow
on Viale Amendola. Turn on the first left in Viale Duca degli
Abruzzi and then left on Viale Giovine Italia. Turn right
along the river. The Ritz Hotel Florence is 200 meters further
